An agronomist and modeler at the INRAE Ecodevelopment unit (Avignon), his work focuses on evaluating the resilience, adaptability, and robustness of diversified agricultural systems using dynamic modeling approaches based on viability theory. His work has been applied to a wide variety of case studies, in both crop production (orchards and market gardens, cereals, cocoa) and livestock production (pastoralism, grass-fed dairy farming, mixed crop and livestock farming, beekeeping), and in a wide variety of soil and climate contexts (France, USA, Mongolia, Southern Africa).
